Integration into Pakistan: In 1947, following the partition of India and the creation of Pakistan, the last Nawab of Bahawalpur, Sir Sadiq Muhammad Khan V, decided to accede to Pakistan. Bahawalpur was integrated into the newly formed state, becoming a part of the Punjab province.

قدیم جڑیں: بہاولپور ریجن کی تاریخ کو قدیم دوروں تک جائزہ دینا ممکن ہے، جہاں انڈس ویلی سولیشن کی دوران انسانی بسی کی تصدیقی مواد موجود ہے۔ صدیوں کے دوران، اس علاقے میں مختلف حکمرانی خاندانوں کی اشتهار واقع ہوا۔

بہاولپور ریاست: اس ریجن نے 18ویں صدی میں اہمیت حاصل کی، جب 1802 میں ایباسی خاندان نے بہاولپور کی ریاست قائم کی۔ یہ ریاست اپنی جغرافیائی واقعیت اور بھارتی انڈیا کو وسط ایشیاء سے جوڑنے والے تجارتی راہوں کے لئے معروف تھی۔

برٹش اثر: برٹش راج کے دوران، بہاولپور برٹش کی عرصے کی تحت ریاست بنی رہی، جس کے محلی حکمران مختصر اختیار کو برقرار رکھتے تھے جبکہ وہ برٹش اختیار کو تسلیم کرتے تھے۔ یہ انتظام 1947 میں ہندوستان کی تقسیم کے بعد جاری رہا۔

پاکستان میں شامل ہونا: 1947 میں ہندوستان کی تقسیم اور پاکستان کی تخلیق کے بعد، بہاولپور کے آخری نواب، سر سادق محمد خان پانچویں، نے پاکستان میں شمولیت کا اعلان کیا۔ بہاولپور نے نئے تشکیل دی گئی ریاست کا حصہ بننے کا اعلان کیا اور پنجاب صوبے میں شامل ہوگیا۔
